Hey guys. I was wondering if there is still support for ATi 45xx cards in Lion, because there is no ATI4500Controller.kext in S/L/E. I have an ATi Radeon HD 4550, and have what seems to be full QE/CI in Lion. I added my device id to ATI4600Controller.kext instead. I have the ripple effect in dashboard and everything, but Steam/Source games like Portal 2 won't work. They start to launch, then crash. It leads me to believe something is not right. I don't have GraphicsEnabler enabled, but it makes no difference when it is. Do I have to add support to Chameleon manually? This all works with Snow Leopard, but that is a different version of Chameleon, but that version makes Lion crash. Any ideas? Thanks!

In ATI4600Control kext.

My card ATI 4570 work great on Lion 10.7, full working.

Just patch the hex string to use Shrike in ATI4600Controller and GraphicsEnabler in the newest Chameleon is OK.

// But when update up to 10.7.2 it's not working anymore.

What is Shrike?
