To Moderators : Sorry if this was in the wrong section , plz move if Required , and plz tell me if you ever saw this Problem before just so i can know what am I dealing with....

Well it's pretty much what the title say ,

I'm trying to Boot a Preinstalled Lion on a Satellite C660-1HE (specs Below)

i Tried using TonyMac's ##### 3.1.1 and 3.0.1 and they both fail to load the OS , while tonymac's rBoot CD was able to start the chimera boot-loader and get me in the OS ,

The Problem is i tried to install a boot-loader to the HDD so it can start up by it's own and it never does , Tried Chameleon 2.0 r1518 and a couple of older ones ,, also tried Chimera 1.5.4 (same one of rBoot) but they're not even starting the boot-loader it self.

i always get a "boot failure" message when i try to boot form HDD and then it switches to CD.

I also tried installing each of Chimera and Chameleon to a USB flash drive that works perfectly with my other Hackintosh but it also failed to even start the boot-loader .

you can lookup Tonymac's installation CDs Online , the only thing that ever started a boot-loader interface and actually booted my Lion 10.7 was the rBoot LE CD..

Plz help , as this is Urgent since this is not my Laptop and i have to return it to my friend who i promised a working HackBook after checking his specs and now i can't even start to install the Proper kexts as i need to have full control on chameleon boot plist.... :$ :$

How did you install the Bootloader to the hard disk? With #####? Try the Manual method via Terminal

Also, why did you promise your friend? :) You could be earning money while people in Insanelymac help you. :P
