JSn1™
I installed OSX86 on my new Gateway CX2724 tablet pc, but, there are some issues to fix, it works perfectly, even i can do a Dual Boot with Windows Tablet PC Edition and Mac OS X 10.4.7. These are the tech specs. of the tablet: Intel Centrino Duo T2050 1.6 Ghz, The 2 cores are recognized. 1024 MB DDR2 RAM (Dual Channel, 2x512) Works fine. Intel Chipset: 945g or 945gm, i think its just the same. Works!!!! Graphics: On board, intel 950 graphics, in the box it says 128 MB, but the card is 224 MB without overcloacking, (windows and mac) Works fine, another display supported. Sound: Sigmatel 9250 (Not working) LAN: Gigabit card, (i think its intel) Working Great Wireless Intel PRO/Set Card Not working Pen-Digitizer: ?? Everything works, unless the audio and the wireless card. (of course also is not working the digitizer) 10.4.7 JaS: Reports no audio devices 10.4.5 Maxxuss: Reports Intel HD Audio, but no more, i cannot get sound, or modify volume controls. What's happening, please help. Mac runs fine , fine and fine again. Its a lot faster than Windows, so i would like to know if there's a way to get sound. Please Help!! rogabean
Which wireless card is in it? On my mx6214 i had to modify the Yukon kext to get the ethernet port properly working to get wireless working. it was detecting the wireless, but due to the en0/en1 issue it thought that was the built in ethernet once i was up and running. modifying the yukon in the networking family kext corrected this. gateway is pretty consistent about using the same hardware.. so I have a feeling this may be case with you.
