Trying to dual boot Win7/Lion on a fresh PC, can't get installer booted

I've been out of the OSX86 game for a while...my last Hackintosh ran 10.4.6. I'm trying to get back in now, but of course everything has changed!

Equipment:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H67MA-USB3-B3

Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K

Optical drive: LG WH12LS30 Blu-Ray burner

Hard drive: Seagate ST31000526V 1TB 6GB/s SATA

Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB)

Graphics card: Asus nVidia GeForce GT430

As it sits right now, the graphics card is not installed, and I've only installed one 4GB stick of RAM. The machine will boot and install Windows 7 Ultimate without issue.

I have available to me a Mac Mini running Lion and the Lion install image. I imaged it onto a flash drive and used that flash drive to install Lion onto a MacBook.

I've tried following this guide to get Lion installed, but it references a folder on the flash drive that I imaged the Lion install disc to that I can't find:

After the restoration, open the restored partition, navigate to System/Installation, delete the Packages link and create a folder with the same name, Packages.

I don't see an Installation folder.

I ran the Extra_Lion_DP4 and Chameleon RC5 on the flash drive. I'm booting from an ##### CD. It successfully finds the Lion flash drive, but upon boot it immediately kernel panics and hangs with the final line saying "System uptime in nanoseconds: #######" (real numbers in there, of course).

Some of the other lines include:

Can't load kext com.psystar.driver.OpenHaltRestart - failed to resolve library dependencies

Kext com.psystar.driver.OpenHaltRestart (error 0xdc00800e).

panic(cpu 0 caller 0x672801): "Unable to find driver for this platform: \"ACPI\".\n"@/SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1699.22.64/iokit/Kernel/IOPlatformExpert.cpp:1504

Etc. If other lines might be relevant let me know and I'll post those, too.

Any suggestions on which direction to head? Is there something I'm doing wrong with the flash drive? Do I need to try a different install method?

Thanks!

There are several "#####" options on the Downloads page of kexts.com; which one would you suggest?

first, ##### won't boot lion, install chameleon into the thumb-drive, (BUT BE CERFUL!!!! DON'T EVER INSTALL ON YOUR REAL MAC!)

also, the Packages link placed on System/Library/Installation/Packages, delete the link and copy the real folder placed on dmg file of the Lion installation

your can read this if you haven't

this is preparation of hackintosh Lion installer thumb Drive.

Also, take some time to read about DSDT fixes, and i think you can find a patch file to patch your DSDT

have fun

I don't have an "Installation" folder in my System/Library directory:

And according to the how-to that you and I both linked to, I'm looking for a System/Installation folder. Where exactly should my Installation folder be?

I do have a "Packages" folder but it's in the root directory of the flash drive, as pictured.
