chaos_logic
Hi there, here is my DSDT for acer 3820tg(core i5, ati 5650, 4gb). Its not hardly edited, but my sleep work fine except waking - i can hear sounds of working system but my display stays black. Don't know what to do, maybe i should insert ati section in DSDT but i don't know how. My video now works with GE=yes from chameleon. Fn brightness keys don't work too ofc. Hope someone can help. Thanks DSDT.aml.zip

chaos_logic
Trying with sleep enabler - worthless, still blank screen after sleep. So no ideas how to fix it now?
chaos_logic
Ok maybe someone just can help me with adding my ati 5650 to DSDT? I use Hoolock frame buffer and VRAM: 1024 МБ ATI (0x1002) ID : 0x68c1
triple675
So far I've been unsuccessful in getting my 5470M detected correctly. With GE=Yes I get full support via VGA port but not via LCD. Try the EDID method and I get a garbage screen. I have yet to tackle Ethernet, Wifi and sound. Keyboard and Trackpad are working fine.
chaos_logic
Try out my EDID, hope it works. LAN works with atheros1lc from #####, audio - VoodoHda(again don't remember version, only know that it without prefpane from ##### again). Wifi card I've stolen from my friends ASUS notebook - worked OOTB. Your trackpad have multitouch? i have only side scroll enabled. And I'm still with my sleep issue here DisplayProductID_717.zip

Wifi card I've stolen from my friends ASUS notebook - worked OOTB. Your trackpad have multitouch? i have only side scroll enabled. And I'm still with my sleep issue here Thanks I'll try your EDID. What boot options are you using? I'm trying with GraphicsEnabler=Yes and AtiConfig=Eulemur. Like I said before the VGA port works fine. LAN and sound are working? That's great! I can actually start using Lion. Where did you install the Atheros*.kext and VoodooHDA.../S/L/E or /Extra in EFI? I'll check if trackpad supports multi-touch. I installed 10.7 on a separate drive and without network support I have to keep swapping hard-drives. lol Update: Okay, I tried your EDID and LCD is working fine. Had a tough time finding Atheros1lc and VoodooHDA patched for AL269, but both Ethernet and Sound are working. I check the Touchpad and only mouse works. No scrolling or multi-touch. Thanks for your help. You right...sleep is a must, but at least I'm updating this post from my Macbook Pro. ;-) I'll work on the DSDT tomorrow to see if sleep can be sorted. Cheers! chaos_logic
NP man ApplePS2nubs - try those kexts for trackpad sidescrolling. boot.plist - thats my boot.plist. Im using MacPro6.1 smbios btw. Did you tried sleep enabler.kext? And what about noise in headphones with voodoohda? I have a little, but nothing fatal
triple675
I'm using MacbookPro8,1. It's working fine. No sound issues here. I'm using VoodooHDA patched for AL269. I'll try to find the link and post it. No Luck with sleep yet. Any progress?
chaos_logic
Hmm, Maldon said that 8.1 is sandy bridge, so its better to use 6.1 smbios for acer cause 450m is not SB I found some next patched for alc 269 but there is no working micro, so I'm looking forward for u drivers. No, sleep is not working, and hibernation too. Don't know what to do, this is the only thing that stopm me from using macosx totally. Still think that injecting ati section to dsdt will help, but how? Btw, if i boot without graphics enabler i can't go into sleep! P.S: maybe you have kind of IM account or Skype, send me you nick plz
nIGHTLite
both of you are using lion, right? Did you guys try replacing your AppleRTC.kext to the one from Snow leopard? I have attached the one from 10.6.8. Hope it helps. It worked perfectly on my waking up issues. AppleRTC.kext.zip Note: I don't have the same model but no harm in trying.
