  1. Lenovo B570

Just finished reading the whole thread. Thanks everyone and especially Macinsane. I will install OS X Lion 10.7.3 when my notebook arrives. Hopefully there aren't any problems with the B950 dual core processor. It should work according to my "research".
  2. nVidia GTS 250

Hi Nick, Yes, I've spent so much time to troubleshoot loading a rom dump from windows. It just won't damn load using chameleon/chimera. I tried nvidiarom, videorom, etc so many. Finally I got fed up with it and just used GraphicsEnabler . The one thing that did work for me was the custom NVCAP in device-properties (boot.plist) and even that was on 10.7.1. I would like to know how to load the nvidia rom too properly. I have already spend weeks on every single method known to get this card to work full power. Perhaps if you find a solution, please post here.
  3. nVidia GTS 250

Oh dang!!! Reformat! Trying repairing disk permissions with disk utility. Make new account. Reboot. Hopefully it works!
  4. nVidia GTS 250

Nvidia drivers change a lot and therefore it's not a good idea to use older system files on newer macos versions. With that being said, the answer to your question is GeForce.kext GeForce7xxxGLDriver.bundle GeForceGA.plugin GeForceGLDriver.bundle GeForceVADriver.bundle NVDANV40Hal.kext NVDANV50Hal.kext NVDAResman.kext (all GeForce and NVDA related kexts) But, I definitely wouldn't recommend it, especially on 10.7.2 because Apple changed the Nvidia drivers on this version.
  5. nVidia GTS 250

10.7.2 broke this method for me. Using one monitor now with GraphicsEnabler=Yes I might change video cards soon. This card doesn't even give full performance in OSX. But I will definitely update when I come across something new. Sorry for HDMI, it's not working here either. by the way, Im using the same strings from that website for the gts 250.
  6. OS X Lion 10.7.2 11C71--- 11C73 GM

Just updated to 10.7.2 GM 11C73 Everything's fine. A bit faster too (Safari)
  7. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Start your computer. Don't press anything. Wait for it to get to the chameleon screen. Don't press anything (keyboard) or use mouse for 10 seconds. Then press the enter key to start booting your mac installation. Apparently if I wait like this, the boot works fine and doesn't give me any kernel panic. Weird, but always works for me. Try it. ____________________________________________________________________ Everyone who is asking for dsdt's Go to windows and auto extract your dsdt from there. Then apply patch for your motherboard and you're all set Good luck!
  8. Acer 3820tg sleep issue

both of you are using lion, right? Did you guys try replacing your AppleRTC.kext to the one from Snow leopard? I have attached the one from 10.6.8. Hope it helps. It worked perfectly on my waking up issues. AppleRTC.kext.zip Note: I don't have the same model but no harm in trying.
  9. 64bit os x is not enabling on my hackintosh

Can you please include your processor model information?
  10. Check for Hardware Video Acceleration capabilities

An error was returned by the decoder layer. This may happen for example because of bitstream/data errors during a decode operation. This error may also be returned from VDADecoderCreate when hardware decoder resources are available on the system but currently in use by another process. VDADecoderCreate failed. err: -12473 logout ZOTAC ZT-20105-10P GeForce GTS 250 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Lion 10.7.1 w/ GraphicsEnabler=Yes
  11. Graphics on the Mac OS X

Hey, I had the same problem and couldn't figure it out for the longest time. Try booting in 64 bit mode and trying the test again. I had my score go up from 700 to 3000+ I'm using the official nvidia drivers and GraphicsEnabler=Yes Snow leopard 10.6.8 My wireless doesn't work in 64 bit mode so I just use ethernet now.
  12. nVidia GTS 250

  13. nVidia GTS 250

  14. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Alright. I will keep searching. Many thanks for the dsdt!
  15. DSDT Auto patcher - Gone?

Dear Mald0n, Thank you! Sleep is working. But if I wake up using USB devices (keyboard/mouse), the usb device that was used to wake up stops working. Waking up using the power button works fine. I have tried USBBusFix but it doesn't seem to be working. Any ideas? Thank you.
