i dont think their are any restrictions for the hackintosh. i would get a latest generation SF-2000 sandforce. they are UBER fast with 500mbsec write/read

according to here: http://blog.macsales.com/11734-mac-compati...r-now-available

i would get a OWC Mercury SSD which have 250MBsec write. they seem to be the best supported SSDs for macbook pros. the new sandforce will for sure boot etc in a macbook, but i don't know about optimization like the Mercurys link above. anyone have a word on this?
