XLR
Marvell, Sandforce 1200, 1222, 2281? Any specific model recommendations? I need one for my 2009 Macbook Pro, and one for my desktop Hackintosh. Thanks in advance. sirbow2
i dont think their are any restrictions for the hackintosh. i would get a latest generation SF-2000 sandforce. they are UBER fast with 500mbsec write/read according to here: http://blog.macsales.com/11734-mac-compati...r-now-available i would get a OWC Mercury SSD which have 250MBsec write. they seem to be the best supported SSDs for macbook pros. the new sandforce will for sure boot etc in a macbook, but i don't know about optimization like the Mercurys link above. anyone have a word on this? XLR
Do you know any models with Trim support out of the box? (without the need of Trim Support Enabler) Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/267776-choosing-an-ssd-what-chipsetmodel-to-go-for/#findComment-1748109 Share on other sites
