foodfightr
I recently purchased a 3.0 TB hard drive to use with Media Center in Windows 7. However, booting from a 3.0 TB partition is not supported with MBR. I need to boot windows with EFI and set the hard drive to GPT. I think maybe I could do this with Chameleon? Does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266866-use-chamelon-to-boot-windows-7-efi/ Share on other sites
srs5694
AFAIK, it's not possible with Chameleon, but it is possible with UEFI DUET: http://www.rodsbooks.com/bios2uefi/index.html https://gitorious.org/tianocore_uefi_duet_b...64_BIOS_to_UEFI http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=186440 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/266866-use-chamelon-to-boot-windows-7-efi/#findComment-1753667 Share on other sites
aufa333
it would be much better if u used a separate hdd for OS and use ur 3tb for data only ,this way u protect ur data from gettin deleted or something by accident.
