careyr69
The only audio kext I've ever been able to get to work has been the VooDoo ones. Now after the update you cannot have Voodoo files in your extensions directory or you boot hangs. I've friend every multi best audio installation and still no audio. Any ideas? Actually for the base lion, 10.7 the latest Voodoo worked in ##### 3.8. However, after the update it wouldn't boot. It would get stuck on pci configuration begin in verbose mode. After booting several times in safe mode, I figured out that the Voodoo file was causing it. I removed it and used the AppleHDARollback in #####. Then I finally got the lowest version of Voodoo to work. Now I have sound and am updated fine. Something about the latest few Voodoo kexts didn't work with the update. I remember I had this issue with early Snow Leopard installs as well. Johanmartin
Hi! I have a question for you. Since you are using a Asus P6T6 WS Revolution (Right?), does sleep work correctly? For me it does so only with one gtx 280, but not with two or three. I think I have the same configuration as you have and I am right now trying to get sound to work as well. Could you please send your dsdt and EFI-string (Are you using EFI-string for graphics)? Guess I cannot upload the dstl file. If you are still having issues send me a private message and I'll email you the file.
