peter.lapisu Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 - please help, iam stuck at this for 3 days - i didnt even get to install, because i get kernel panic, before install - i get an "Unable to find driver for this platform ACPI" and also i noticed this text : "ACPI table not found : DSDT.aml" - i tryied many bootloaders "AndyBoot", "nawcomModCD", "[url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]", "EasyEFI", "iDeneb" all with the same result - i tryied various boot flags "-x acpi=off Platform=X86PC PCIRootUID=1 arch=i386" - even removed all HDDs, the error remained - i dont even need to put in the Retail DVD, just pressing enter in the bootloader and i get this error - HPET and AHCI are enabled in BIOS, and also restored Optimized defaults for BIOS Motherboard : Z68 motherboard ASUS Gene-Z IV CPU : Intel i7 2600k (unlocked) GPU: ASUS GTX 570 RAM : 4GB (2x2GB Corsair 1666Mhz) HDD : 1.5TB - Sata 6GB i know what an DSDT is, but why its not found?
