Tizzy
Hey all, I apologize for this post but I've been pouring over the forums and havn't been able to solve this issue. I just built a new pc and am attempting to install Snow Leopard, I've done a bunch of different methods i've come across. Most just say boot off ##### and swap to the disc and install, when I use ##### it kernel panics before it gets to asking for the SL disc. So i tried ##### Legacy, which boots fine, i toss in the SL disc and before it loads install it reboots the PC. I came across an only 10.6.3 iATOKIS (whatever it is) disc and that somehow worked fine but i had to copy the kernel over so it would boot off the drive, then i attempted to update it to 10.6.8 using the ##### method and now it too wont boot. Does anyone have any ideas? Am i missing a setting in the bios i need to change? right now i have it set to defaults mostly, changed a few things including AHCI. can anyone point me in the proper direction? eventually i'd love to get Lion up and running of course but first things first. thanks for any help you all can provide. aufa333
iATOKIS is not retail version and therefor in everytime u want to update to newer version u have to get the newer version of iATOKIS because if u used the normal mac update ,it will mess up lots of the modification that iATOKIS installed on ur pc. try to use ##### legacy one more time and use this flags -x -v graphicsenabler=no then post back SS of the error u get ,if it didnt work then u need to use the USB method.
