apandhi
Hey Guys, I finally got OSX to install on my Dell Optiplex 740 But, when I try to boot it, it says "Still Waiting For Root Device" My root device is disk0s1 and I've done that along with every other possible combination If I put in an install dvd and boot the dvd with rd=disk0s1, it boots into my installed MacOSX So my question is, is it just the boot loader? Thanks for the help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265072-still-waiting-for-root-device-after-installation/ Share on other sites

apandhi
Yea I solved it. You didnt install the chipset drivers. When you customize your installation check all the chipset drivers. It'll work then Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/265072-still-waiting-for-root-device-after-installation/#findComment-1734461 Share on other sites
