Tried deleting the account directory recursively via terminal, but it didn't help. Any ideas? Any ideas? To it's original? That will take a lot of work. Firstly, removing all apps, downloads, clearing history etc. But to get back to the user creation page, yes, there is a way. sudo rm /var/db/.applesetupdone This will make OSX think that you haven't completed the initial setup screens, i.e.: username, password, location etc. Any previously created accounts will still remain, it might be best to boot up in safe mode and login as root, and remove users using the Users Prefpane.
