tripleboot
I'm trying to change system bootloader in VistaBootPro for Mac OS X from \ntldr to \chain0 I think this will might? allow me to boot into OS X 10.4.7 I've been working with bcdedit and havent' had any luck. Is there any way to manually edit this with VistaBootPro or will I have to do this with Bcdedit.exe. Thanks. VistaBootPro 2.1 By the way when I'm booted into Vista it doesn't recognize the OS X partitian on the 2nd drive at all. wondergod
here hows I anstalled all three.. First I installed xp, then I installed vista...then I booted into xp and followed this guide from step 4 on...just keep in mind acronis will only show 2 boot options mac and windows...but when you select windows you will then get a prompt asking vista or xp... That was my order and I was able to dual boot XP and OSx86 10.4.7, however after installing Vista it over rides the boot.ini. The only option is with bcdedit.exe or using VistaBootPro which doesn't recognize or allow for editing of Mac OS X as far as I know. wondergod
ya i origially installed mine, xp, mac then vista...when i rebooted only ones i saw were vista and xp, then i installed Acronis Disk Director with OS thing a ma jig and now i can boot all three.... you could try to kill your vista partition and reinstall it...Vista should automagically create a dual boot with vista and xp then install Acronis and it should do the trick... Ok, cool so the Acronis OS selector sees the Mac drive. I'd be lost without Acronis Disk Director Suite and also True Image. It has saved my *** more then once when I've gone belly up. I just deleted Vista build 5552 last night (it was leaked) and ran like a bat out of hell. RC1 was released yesterday and hopefully it will be up today.
