This is a complete solution working for me for configuration:

OS X Lion 10.7

M/B ASUS P8P67-M Rev3.0 (RTL) LGA1155 <P67> 2xPCI-E+GbLAN+1394 SATA RAID MicroATX (Realtek RTL8111E LAN controller & Realtek ALC 887-VD2 audio codec).

CPU Intel Core i3-2120

512Mb <PCI-E> DDR-2 Gigabyte GV-N84S-512I (RTL) +DVI+HDMI <GeForce 8400GS>

After successful installation of the system and the boot loader:

0) Download ASUS_P8P67_M.zip

1) Copy dsdt.aml file to your desktop.

I took MaLd0n's DSDT from theme. Later, it was edited with the help of rafirafi's notes from here!

2) Run ##### and select "UserDSDT Install", AppleHDA Rollback (under Drivers&Bootloader -> Kexts&Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek) and Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet!

And we have to rebuild cache and repair permissions. Someone noted that System Utilities from ##### broke kextcache, so I decided to use Kext Utility or Kext Wizard!

3) Reboot! After this you will notice new Ethernet controller appears in preferences.

My GeForce 8400GS is also recognised by system, but I can't still change resolution.

4) If you still cannot change resolution, it is necessary to edit NVDANV50Hal.kext (located under /S/L/E/). Move it from /S/L/E/ to e.g. Desktop. Open Info.plist file inside it and scroll to <key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key> section.

post-276725-1311540648_thumb.png

Look, my vendor ID is 0x10de and Device ID is 0x10c3.

So, we gotta combine this into 0x10c310de!

Right after the last string: 0x0ca010de&0xffe0ffff in IOPCIPrimaryMatch we have to add:

0x10c310de&0xffe0ffff

Save file.

There is no need to edit NVDAResman.kext in Lion!

This method was noted by a1k0n and oldnapalm!

5) Using KextHelper, add NVDANV50Hal.kext and dmazar's kext ALC887vdHDA_6Ch_RMic_SPDIF.kext

Run Kext Utiluity or Kext Wizard! Reboot!

6) After the reboot you can change resolution, HDMI (or DVI) and D-Sub works. Sound is perfectly working! I tested SPDIF and Internal Speakers! It works flawlessly, without any cracks, glitches and kernel panics!

I have to thank MaLd0n, rafirafi, dmazar, a1k0n, oldnapalm, #####!

Thanks to all of you! Wouldn't be able to do this without your help!

I didn't try to run USB 3.0 controller and FireWire controller.

Still I got one problem left: I've got 2 FullHD monitors, but HDMI and DVI do not work together. And I have to connect the second monitor to D-Sub port, though it doesn't not provide enough quality.

Hello there,

So: My setup: Asus p8p67-m (stepping b2), Geforce 560Ti, 16GB RAM, Realtek ALC 887-VD2

My steps on Instalation:

1)Clean Instalation Lion 10.7 with #####, instalation OK with USB support (mouse, keyboard), GFX only 1024x768.

2) Install with ##### 4.0.1 ##### + AppleHDA Rollback (under Drivers&Bootloader -> Kexts&Enablers -> Audio -> Realtek) and Lnx2Mac's RealtekRTL81xx Ethernet!

3) restart -> Networks work Great, but no AUDIO

4) When I install dmazar's kext ALC887vdHDA_6Ch_RMic_SPDIF.kext => still no sound after restard :)

When I try used DSDT from "Unequipp" post => kernel panic :(
