rabbit74
iTunes crashes shortly after starting. Consistently about 10 seconds after starting. I have tried removing it completely with: sudo rm -Rf /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.network.identification.plist /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist /System/Library/Caches/* ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes* /System/Library/Extensions/AppleMobileDevice.kext ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunesHelper.plist /Library/iTunes ~/Library/iTunes /Applications/iTunes.app You can see from above I have tried resetting network prefs as well. Have tried re-installing, Have tried re-installing 10.6.8 combo update. At the end of my rope. Lost and clueless. Help, I'm drowning. System is: GA-p67A-UD3 i7-2600 GTX-260 SSD boot (80G-intel-G3) 3T-RAiD (home folder is on the raid) 8G-1333-RAM User DSDT SYS-def=MacPro3,1 Boot-Loader is Chimera Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/262423-itunes-crashes-shortly-after-starting/ Share on other sites
ifrit05
Check the iTunes log in Console.app. We can't help without knowing what's causing it to crash.
