I tough it would be a simple task for me (I'm a general experienced user but its the first contact I have with OSX on a normal PC. That's why I would like to have someone close to me to assist me at the configuration of a Snow Leopard retail 10.6.8 on my box. I am willing to pay you, experienced user, to set up this computer. If you have the necessary experience to make this box work properly, please send me a PM. I guess it would not take more than 1 hour (if you already know what to do). Motherboard: GA-P67A-D3-B Video: Radeon HD 6750 Processor: i7 2600k RAM: 16gb 1600mhz 120GB OCZ ssd. I already have the system running with very poor configuration (without audio, video, ethernet, etc). I am aware that if I search for the rich content of this forum I could be able to perform the configuration, but seems like it is going to take weeks. My concepts about kexts, dsdts, etc are very poor. If you are interested, please send me a PM or post at this thread. I have a macbook right on the side of the box I need to configure, we can set up everything via skype. I didn't find anything about this kind of offer in the forums rules, but if there is some minor prohibition, I'm sorry for this post. Hangten Posted July 14, 2011 Share Posted July 14, 2011 IMO, Hackintosh is not for the faint hearted. If you live by a Microcenter, my bet is there is someone there that can help you. By the time you pay someone what there worth you could of bought a Mac. And most people here have extreme skills. Try tonymacosx86 tony. for easier help. Just trying to help... Actually I live in Brazil and Apple desktops are totally out of question - the prices are TOO high. Even the the medium-advanced laptops are too expensive. Maybe nobody would show up for this quick job. But I feel like its a 1 hour job for a well skilled guy. Maybe the hourly rate is worth, maybe someone makes me happy and become happy because he is going to spend just a little time and he already have the knowledge. Thanks for the indication of tonyx86.
