Rackers
Hi all, I have an Asus P6X58D-E with the correct DSDT, I thought sleep was working however when I put the computer to sleep for longer than a few minutes it always 'breaks' my install and I can no longer boot into Lion. I get this everytime I try to boot from now on, any ideas on what I have done or how to even fix it? Thanks!

nexus77777
If you have a working (perhaps Snow ) install, try to re-install Chameleon version 752 and UP.... if not try booting with -f try booting with -x try -v (hum) Re-intall LION.... Sorry... A driver seems needed for your F718x; do not know what it is...
Rackers
What does those boot flags do? I didn't get that error before my computer failed to sleep, is it possible that the computer failing to sleep has somehow made it come up? Thanks

The F718x is FakeSMC Plugin for monitoring Fintek Sensor. maybe it's not compatible with your board? cause i see a lot of those messages. does istat works for you? if not try removing SuperIOFamily From E/E or S/L/E (where you installed it) try see if there are any differences, i once had to remove NVclockX because i replaced graphic card and i had troubles with waking, but nothing that serious. another question, does your PC wake up from sleep? Rackers
iStat seemed to be working when I had it installed. I will try removing that Kext and see how I go. If I set the PC to manual sleep it wakes if I press a button on the keyboard after a minute or so but if I leave it longer than 10 minutes it wakes but no screen .. Basically tells you wants happening during boot up. -x = Safe mode. Basically boots your system with the bare minimum kexts. -s = Single user mode. Command line only mode. Allows you to run commands as root to fix system. -f = Tells the machine to reload all kext and dump the boot configuration cache, (kext cache found in: /System/Library/Extensions.mkext, you can delete it manually and the system will recreate it). .... -v verbose (seems already selected) .... Rackers
I removed the f178x kext from SuperIOFamily plugin and all is well once more, I'm guessing that my board doesn't actually require a driver seeing as everything is working as it should!
