  1. Kernel Panic on fresh install

Remove the F178x kext from SuperIOFamily (don't just remove SuperIOFamily) in your Extras folder, I believe it is Lion incorrectly detecting a chip. See my post, exact same symptoms as yours, my Lion is fine now. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php...p;#entry1712277
  2. I could have used this two weeks ago, very good and simple guide!
  3. http://www.tonymacx86.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=19468 Follow that topic to the letter, it is the guide I used to get the audio working!
  4. Under the system profiler it should be telling you what ALC 8xx you are running, Intel High Definition Audio: Audio ID: 889 Does it say that?
  5. You'll need to remove HDAEnabler889.kext from /System/Library/Extensions and any others like that. I'd try removing the AppleHDA also but make sure it is backed up. Let us know if you get any further errors.
  6. Sleep broke my Lion install (screenshot)

I will do, thanks again for your help!
  7. Take a photo, it may also be an idea to remove the AppleHDA.kext (or thereabouts) from your E/E folder, then see if it will boot.
  8. Lion GM Performance TEST Results

Can you post any links for these tests? I can't find some of them. Like the OpnCL .. Thanks!
  9. ASUS P8Z68-V PRO and Lion anyone?

What error messages are you getting?
  10. Mac App Store in Lion GM not connecting.

Make sure your wired ethernet is being detected as eth0?
  11. Sleep broke my Lion install (screenshot)

I removed the f178x kext from SuperIOFamily plugin and all is well once more, I'm guessing that my board doesn't actually require a driver seeing as everything is working as it should!
  12. Sleep broke my Lion install (screenshot)

iStat seemed to be working when I had it installed. I will try removing that Kext and see how I go. If I set the PC to manual sleep it wakes if I press a button on the keyboard after a minute or so but if I leave it longer than 10 minutes it wakes but no screen ..
  13. Asus P6X58D-E Sleep - DSDT Help

Yes I have those flags set.
  14. Thanks guys. This is just to fix the CMOS from resetting right? Does anybody know or is able to point me to a post were I can get some help for the sleep issues I'm having. If I manually sleep the computer it works fine if I wake it after a few minutes but say if I leave it 10 minutes it goes into a (deep?) sleep and will not resume correctly (fans power back on but no screen). Thankjs
