andrebrait Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 Hi I've managed to get my hands on a installation file for Lion, and I was able to upgrade from my old SL using it, but when using this method (http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=256729) to create an USB bootable drive, I get this message when I try to install Lion. Does anyone knows what it is? ps.: I also get this message when I mount BaseSystem.dmg and try to run the app directly from it. Effendi Posted July 7, 2011 Share Posted July 7, 2011 That message appers only when you did not copy the packages to the appropriate folder on the USB stick. Check the guide, read it carefully, do as it says and it will work.
