Rackers
Hi all, I have successfully installed Lion GM but I am having trouble getting audio, graphics and network working. I have an ALC889, GTX 470 and a Marvell Yukon 88E8056. I have run the autodsdt patcher and placed the dsdt.aml in the Extras folder although I'm unsure exactly what the DSDT file achieves? Thanks! Dannydeman
Make sure to edit your boot.plist file in the /Extra folder and add <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string>" Also, you might need to use the "NVEnabler64.kext" file. For the audio I suggest the "ALC8xxHDA.kext" or otherwise the VoodooHDA.kext.
Rackers
Thanks, I will give that a try. Is there a Kext utility that I need to use or is it simply placing them in the correct folder? Thanks
Dannydeman
Just place them in the /Extra/Extensions folder. Atleast, that is what works here.
Rackers
I can't get either of those files to enable the audio, I must be doing something wrong. Do I need use a dsdt at all or shall I use #####?
