iNap Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 My HacBook's LCD brightness keeps constantly increasing whenever it's running on battery power. It's a Dell XPS m140 (same as an Inspiron 630m). Can't figure out what's going on--any ideas? Deviant0ne Posted August 28, 2006 Share Posted August 28, 2006 I have been having a similar issue on my Hacintosh; I ended up having to calibrate my monitor, and everytime I boot into OS X, runing that calibration. I'm not sure if that's the issue you're having, but that's my two cents - Hope it helps. I also have an Dell XPS M140 and my brightness keeps going up automatically even when I turn it down.
