utuber3231
I need to have a screen resolution of at least 1280x900 to use programs such as Logic Pro & Final Cut but I can only get 1024x768. I have seen fixes for this but none work on my Samsung R519 Laptop. Can someone please help me out or recommend a good driver which would work for me. ifrit05
It's not a X4500, but a 4500M. There is support for full resolution, but no QE/CI. Final Cut wont work without QE/CI, but Logic will run. Try this file (you must register but it's free): http://www.kexts.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=909 Follow the instructions on the site. PS. Snow Leopard WILL feel sluggish without Graphics Acceleration. I suggest finding a newer compatible computer. Poco
I have the same card in my laptop. It's never really bothered me that there is no QE/CI, so long as I can set the resolution. The only time I really notice that there is no acceleration is when maximizing/minimizing windows. The simple animations such as bouncing icons in the dock work just fine. For all work that requires acceleration I flip to Windows. But then again, for most of those tasks I would flip to Windows just out of preference. @ifrit05: nearly the same join day Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/259626-how-can-i-get-my-laptops-full-resolution-working-on-hazards-os-x-1067/#findComment-1705248 Share on other sites
