Hello!

First of all my specs:

Amd x2 5000+

Asus m2n-e sli

geforce 8800gt

So the problem -> I'm running good with 10.6.2 but i want to update to the new version, first i deleted all caches and sleepenabler.kext, then did permission repair and rebooted, still working good.

Then i installed 10.6.7 combo update, and before rebooting i installed legacy kernel 10.7.0, and after install i rebooted.

SO THE PROBLEM ->>

When it boots, it doesnt load the system anymore, no spinning wheel comming under the apple logo etc. just the apple logo. It just stays there forever and nothing happens, and i think it doesnt load from HDD. So how can i fix this so i could boot again ? At the moment I'm running 10.6.2 so i am ready to try some tricks to getting it to run 10.6.7!

Your help is appreciated!

Sincerely Rippe !:rolleyes:

I got it working!!! I backupped the mach_kernel from 10.6.2, then i installed new legacy kernel, then i updated to 10.6.7, rebooted, it didnt start then. Then i went to windows, and with mac drive I pasted the old mach_kernel to the root, and voilá! Now it's working like a charm! Except im experiencing sometimes mouse lag/stuttering, and my atheros wlan is not working... Any help for those?

i have test it and works but mouse not woking like ui don`t know what to do i have the same problem with u

AMD kernel Only without intel for 10.6.7

I also fixed the mouse not working thing by replacing the iousb kexts from the 10.6.2 to 10.6.7, working now :thumbsup_anim:

"MacDrive" is a Windows program that allows it to read and write to Mac HFS+ drives so he was able to install the kernel from Windows.

i use ##### to fix USB, and works, press Windows+F5 to active voice to use TAB to install by keyboard
