Acro_Design
HI1: I had several crashs loosing data on my HFS+. Is this osx86 related or general mac? I've never had such on Linux/Windows since 1998... 2: How could I assign the mac hotkey for ex. to ctrl etc.? Thanks derda you might want to be more specific about the crashes and what you are doing when they happen. what kind of crash i hate responding to these sort of topics because i don't want to cause offence but could it be your hardware setup or technical fault or time to replace a component. parts do have sell by dates as im sure you know. my point is everyone is quick to blame the os when it could easly be hardware. i am only saying this as limited details have been supplied and i aim to get you to thinking not to upset. about the keyboard. its a low teck solution but i think it works well. i have a little bright green sticker on my alt key that i can feel when i type and see if im looking. it reminds me that that is mac cmd, you get used to it. im sure there is a solution good luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/257301-hfs-mac-hot-key/#findComment-1685368 Share on other sites
derda
while installing it often hanged at boot. After reset, twice the whole os was not repairable! even now, as the shutdown seems not clean, it all the time checks and repairs fs. So any solution to map ctrl to mac cmd? 3.14r2
So any solution to map ctrl to mac cmd? System Preferences>Keyboard>Keyboard tab>Modifier keys...>reassign keys according to you preferences... As for the other issue. In general it shouldn't be so. A properly set-up system is for the most part as functional as Windows/Linux are.
