agalex
I have a GTX 480 card. I am showing a video of OpenCL for my GTX-480 card : Quick Julia (The fps are taken with a dual display 24'' and 19''). You will need Mac OS X 10.6.7 and the newly released kexts of Apple which I am linking : NVIDIA New Graphics Kexts What you need to do : Decompress the file and run Kext Helper b7. Drag all of the files in it (except of course Kext Helper b7) type in your administrative password and then press easy install. That it. Reboot and enjoy OpenCL. Cheers, Alexander. makosx
Not for GTX 580. You must to delete GForce kext if you want not to have a black screen with a noise band in it (up). Full resolution and recognition in System Profiler, but not OpenCL nor QE yet. Keep research.
