  • 3 months later...

I have that MoBo running on my Hackintosh, but made that BIOS setting a long time ago...

I remember that you HAVE to:

- Enable "HPET table" option (don't remember where it's located though).

- Enable "Suspend to RAM" (for the sleep stuff to work).

It is also advisable to disable any eventual hardware you're not using (in my hack, i disabled the parallel & serial ports) and leave the other options to "AUTO".

Although you ask about Leopard, install Lion instead :(

Just finished installing Lion on my Hackintosh, so it works very nice on this board. I used THIS guide to do it, and removed some kexts from my "Extra" folder.

If you're using the onboard GMA950, you need to use a DSDT.aml file (you can make your own using DSDTSE, extracting the table and searching for the fix "desktop GMA950") and set the "GraphicsEnabler" to "Yes" (you can set this option easily using the "Chameleon.PrefPane"- download it ).

Still haven't figured out how to get the alc888 to work (work in progress). Just bought a cheap usb audio for €10 and solved the issue.

In case you get a graphics card, pay special attention to a common error - the dreaded "PCI Configuration Beginning" hang at boot - that is resolved with IOPCIFamily.kext and AppleACPIPlatform.kext from 10.6.7.

After Lion boots OK, install "Chameleon.PrefPane" and Kext Wizard, a very useful utility to easily manage your "Extra" Folder.

Hope it helps,

  • 2 weeks later...

just updated my conroe board to lion.

after some troubles, a certain standard kext prevent normal booting and not working GMA 950 i finally have my mac running again. (use myhack installer)

i used my old DSDT from Leopard days and set architecture to i386, now the thing boots fine.

I got sound working with the latest VoodooHDA release.

my only problem is network, it doesnt show up anymore.

Does anyone else have a fix, i have a working wlan card so its not that big of deal but i would like it for streaming movies to my HD video player like before.

Thanks, i allready tried several kext but it didnt work and it kinda screw up the system.

Anyway the last posted kext on the thread works fine. Sadly Appstore still wont work.

If have set the option EthernetBuiltin in Chameleon, i have deleted those network konfig plists, repaired kext permissions but still appstore tells me that my Hardware isnt verified.

Anyone else has an idea?

Besides that this the System works perfect ...

EDIT:

Ok got the Appstore now finally working :( thanks to this thread:
