smartie77
SITECOM WL-608 USB , all versions have official Mac OS X 10.4/10.5 and 10.6 drivers available, it just is not printed on the box of the product. Also rallink have more up to date drivers for OSX. Sitecom has 2009 kexts for download. It is a RT2070 chipset and the kext is "RT2870.kext". Works with no problem in 10.6.7, even 32 and 64bit. The newer software from ralink adds a utility in the menubar that enables Internet-Sharing ( turn your hackbook into a AP ). Cost : 10 - 15 Euros. 54 b and g, WEP,WPA,WPA-PSK, WPA-EAP. Find it cheap and reliable. Produkt ( german site ) Sitecoms OSX drivers ( old ) RALINKS newer RT2870 Drivers with Internet Sharing.
