Hatorade
I've read that OSX uses a lot of power from laptop batteries. Is there a way to fix this? I've found this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...&hl=battery But I think that only enables the battery/power icon in the top toolbar. Neonkoala
Check the Xlabs for CPU Throttler so it saves power when idle. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/25571-batterypower-consumption-on-a-laptop/#findComment-173111 Share on other sites
Hatorade
I know with any OS (windows, OSX) using large programs consumes a lot of power. I've heard people only getting a couple hours max out out of their fully-charged battery using OSX (as opposed to 4-5 hours using Windows). Is this still and issue? Or does OSX in general consume more power than Windows?
