Hi everyone, I'm a new guy in this forum so I got so many stupid question to ask, so I highly appreciate any help from you guys

I got a old PC (4.5 years old) with the specs

- Pentium 4 630 (The clock speed is 3GHz)

- 2GB RAM

- Gigabyte 945GZM-S2

- 1TB WD Caviar Green

Because Windows is getting more and more unstable so I wanna try installing OSX on this PC.So far, I've tried looking in the tutorial forum but no luck for me. And here's some question

- There are many distro out there : iATKOS, iDeneb ..... and the retail version. So what's distro should I choose ?

- Can my machine run 10.6.7 ? This is an old machine so I'm not sure it will work on my machine. I just wanna use this machine for surfing as I got a alienware (unfortunately, my M11X is the rev2 version and the only choice for OS is windows)

It's using IGP right now

Btw, I did some research and I found out that my mobo is working really fine with OSX, some guys has posted a driver pack for me, which is awesome. But I want to know which version of OSX should I choose : a distro like iDeneb/iATKOS or the retail version

LOL @ driver pack :( i didn't need that when i installed SL on my P4... everything worked, including the nVidia 7200GS card (graphics enabler on Chameleon). your main concern should be the USB when you install the updates.
