I need help installing OSX and was wondering if you guys could help. My PC Specs are: AMD FX-57 (SSE3) nForce4 Chipset 2x 300GB SATAs 2x GeForce 7600GT 256mb SLi Graphic Cards Second Lan Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Ethernel 10/100 NEC DVDRW ND-3550A I have herd that this chipset isnt supported, well the SATA isnt. I know its a longshot but is there a way to over come this or should i just use a IDE HDD. Thanks again from you wonderful people at InsanelyMac. subramanyam Posted August 23, 2006 Share Posted August 23, 2006 Forget the SATA disk for now..there is no use...u will end up with a corrupt partition..Best thing is to go for a 16mb cache IDE HDD. While the problem with SATA, I find than no has anything than we can do still.
