Don't use natit, it's old and obsolete.

Use NVEnabler.kext (google it) or Chameleon 2.0 RC5 with GraphicsEnabler=y.

Make sure you have installed the latest Quadro 4000 drivers from nvidia. Note that 10.6.5 or higher is required.

Ok. There is a specific version of it for my video card or should I use one general?

Edit: I tested nvenabler included in ##### and add pciroot=1 e graphics enabler in boot.apple.plist and have a 1920x1080 black screen (same result of efi string)

I have this videocard and with the attached kext I have QE/CI acceleration, but reproduction of video @1080p is very slow

How do I fix it?

I'm also using a GT430 (enabled using EFI strings tho with no injectors) that has QE/CI acceleration as well, and my HD video playback is also very poor. Anyone found a solution for this yet? Thanks.

So in case anyone is still struggling with this card, I haven't necessarily found a solution, but I have found a workaround for the laggy UI and whatnot. My system is unable to sleep for whatever reason, but I'm sure if your sleep works this will work for you as well.

After initial boot up, my UI and HD video is laggy and choppy as usual. HOWEVER: If I hit the power button on my tower and put my box to sleep (mine wakes right back up by itself but that's not the point), when your system wakes up you should have NO UI LAG and SEAMLESS VIDEO. For whatever reason, the card wakes up to it's full potential when using sleep/wake. I have no idea why, but I'm assuming it has something to do with the way the drivers handle power supply to the card.

So if you're having trouble with terrible HD playback and UI lag, sleep your box and wake it back up. Problem solved, at least until I find an actual solution. Let me know if this works for you!!

hmm i have a 430 but i don't know how to install the drivers i got black screen when booting into snow leopard.

I enabled my card using EFI strings, it was super easy and works perfectly. Here's a link:
