[HELP PLEASE] Biostar H55 HD - i3 530 - 10.6.6 - i3 Integrated Intel HD Graphics Not Working

I am an experienced user and I have been trying to get OS X working for about 2 weeks now... So far I have 10.6.6 installed and booting. Graphics are slow and adobe flash player crashes. To install I used #####, then a 10.6.3 retail DVD which installed without any problems. On boot I installed the 10.6.6 update, then used #####. The system did boot at that point and everything was working, except the graphics. All I could see was a blank white screen but I could open apps via keyboard and play audio with itunes (a little tricky without being able to see). I connected the 500GB HDD to my macbook and tinkered with boot plist, smbios, graphicsenabler, and kexts that were installed, no avail. I got the graphics working finally by deleting "AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext", it seems the problem was the frame buffer kext is set up to share between a discreet and an integrated.

in the 10.6.6 update several files (including the one I deleted) were included for the i3/i5/i7 integrated graphics. These are for use in union with a Radeon discreet GPU. I have no graphics card in my system, so the driver is not working as it should. Maybe I need to modify the frame buffer kext? Any ideas for how to get it working? I have searched for hours and tried many things. I would appreciate a solution very much smile.gif

Side note:

Is there any way to manually change resolution? Mine is at 1600x1200x32, even though I put 1920x1200x32 in my boot plist. I'm assuming this is because of no kext for the graphics and it is the max supported resolution for the generic driver.

I would really appreciate help, and I will put in effort to test solutions. There are many people without HD Graphics support on i3, i5 and i7 processors. Tonymacx86 had a topic on it, no success.

Also look at this:

Does anyone know a way to enable 1920x1200 resolution on OS X 10.6.6? I am already using "Graphics Mode"=1920x1200x32 and that gives me 1600x1200x32.

Would you help me to complete the installation.
