Mac OS X may natively support "PC" Radeon graphics cards

you are double-posting a re-posting of a re-posting of something that was "discovered" right here in these forums and Netkas forums.

 

 

Hard to tell though, since nobody bothered mentioning where they got the info.

 

 

Did I mention they got a few pertinent details wrong?

 

The 6870 (and likely 6850) work perfectly.

 

So far, most of the other cards mentioned either DON'T WORK (6970)

 

Or work less well than when they ran with EFI/Injectors. Most notably, many lose DP function, and thus go from "Eyefinity" to just Dual Display cards.

 

But all of that "news" came from here and Netkas, they just copied it down wrong.

What's also annoying about all these re-posts and postings to news sites is that it will almost certainly guarantee that Apple now fix the siituation and potentially take away what little support we already have for these cards. :thumbsup_anim:
