Dual display with my GMA950 and an ADD2 card working just great. I don't think anyone has been able to get dual displays (non-mirrored) working on anything BUT the GMA950. I have heard isolated reports some folks with the Radeon x1600 were able to get it to work but others with the exact same card not.

Hi, how did you get GMA 950 working? I have it on my Acer and I can't make it works.

honestly, I didnt do much of anything, just plugged it in and used the display settings to configure it anyway I want. I primarily use it for mirroring but Ive used it as an extension too. The only thing I cant seem to do is ONLY use the 2nd screen and turn the LCD off, but it really doesnt matter at all.

The GMA950 dual display issue on laptops is a bit of a different beast. First from what I have read, you can not disable the primary (built-in) display. Second, in order to get dual-display (spanning) I think there are two pins you have to cross on the VGA cable. I may have that confused with some ongoing ATI projects so you may want to dig in the forums a bit more on that subject,

This is correct.

This is DEFINATELY NOT correct. I use it all the time as normal.

As I said, I may have been confused with the ongoing ATI project. Have not done any work with the GMA 950 on a mobile platform (though I wish to heck I had one).
