scousi
I have an Intel SATA with device ID of 3b29. I have tried everything associated with DSDT patching and it does not work. The problem I have is that SATA works but is very slow. I get better disk performance on the same machine running SL with VMware on Win7. Has anyone got any decent speed with the same device ID? My device ID is using the vanilla AppleAHCIPort.kext where my device is defined originally by Apple. My laptop is an Acer 3820TG with an i5 and Ati 5470. scousi
I was in a setup with a NTFS and HFS partition setup with MBR. So I removed the ntfs.kext and I'm getting much better performance.
