echoz
ntfs is always recognised by OS X but mounted read only. your freezing issue sounds like a graphics problem. make sure you have the correct drivers for your graphics if not you will always have to boot in safe mode (mode -x)
djidane
if ntfs is always recognised by OS X, so why i can't see my windows partition (ntfs), i tried a flash drive in ntfs and fat32 and same problem (when i installed iatkos v1 with succes, they were recognised) i have an ATI Radeon Mobility 4330, and with many search, i can't find a driver for it.. there is no fix or something to my graphic card ? djidane
Finally I managed to boot normally, and that by adding these 4 file in the extension folder; -ATI4600Controller -ATISupport -ATIFramebuffer -ATIRadeonX2000 Now i can see all of my windows partition But I'm still in misery, though my graphics card is recognized by the OS, as shown in the image; I'm still stuck on the default resolution and the graphic is miserable ... Anyone have a solution?
currantsforeyes
how did you install it!?With my Inspiron 1750 it boots to the first installation screen then just shuts down and does not give me chance to select the install drive. Any help would appreciated. Thanks!
Gringo Vermelho
Type Inspiron 1750 in the search box above. There's a ton of hits. Note that there is no driver support for Intel GMA 4500 video. You cannot have hardware accelerated graphics.
currantsforeyes
Yeah, I have done that which brought me to this post. There are several posts stating it can be done but I have had no success when trying SnowLeo 10.6.2 or iATKOS s3 v2 10.6.3 both of which should work. Thanks
