estebanrao
First of all sory if this questions are already answered in this forums... I'm brand new with all Mac on PC stuff... Hi... I'm downloading 10.4.4 versión, "MacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso" is the filename and I want to install it on mi PC (Athlon 64 3000+ Core Venice 939, Asus A8N-E nF4, gForce 4 PCI 64mb, 20gb IDE Hard Disk, 1gb Ram) Is this versión (10.4.4) suitable for mi PC? I've read in this forums some hard devices don't work... will mine be the exceptions?? if you people have drivers for hard devices on my pc please try and tell me where to find them Once I install the system how do I dual boot my system?? I will be using 2 seperated hard drives so I think that only by pressing F8 dual boot must work but I'm not sure The MacOS hard drive must by Primary Slave or Primary Master? hmmm.... Will Adobe and Macromedia Soft work properly with out crashing?? (CS2 & Studio 8) What about the rest of the system?? runs properly? fast? slow??? Is there a Guide of how to install properly?? I'll be using this one http://www.cristalab.com/tutoriales/116/in...un-pc-intel-x86 (Spanish) but I don't have any idea if it works I think this is all I want to know... further questions I'll use this post... Than you all!! Hope I'll be using MacOS soon... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24835-installing-1044/ Share on other sites

SenVa
it "should" work... but you have an nvidia card so you won't have full support... there are a few third party drivers... you should look into that after you install osx. Like you said your duel boot should work... but if you want to do a more pro looking way... you should look up chain0 on the fourms... there should be a guide for duel booting somewhere. Almost all mac osx software should work... but the older ones will be ran under roseta "apples ppc software emulator" I would use the search button more... it will/should answer any question you may have. I used the 10.4.6 HotISO and the 10.4.7 AMD update on torrentspy/thepiratebay. I used the forcedeth.kext for my ethernet. So you may want to get that and put it on an existing partition you can mount from within the freshly installed OS X or on disc or however you prefer, but that is vital to getting your other drivers without the same stuff. forcedeth.kext will cause the "About this Mac" feature to malfunction. Other than that, I haven't seen any issues. On the GeForce4, that's gonna be a bit iffy. PCI? I dunno about that :/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24835-installing-1044/#findComment-168441 Share on other sites
