mihu_yo Posted February 6, 2011 Share Posted February 6, 2011 hello...1-st..sorry for my english,2-nd..i wish to install the snow leopard on my hardware... cpu=intel pentium 4,3.0 ghz 2mbl2,sse123,em64 gpu=asus nvidia 6200 tc 256/512 ddr23,3.0 pixel shared,dvi-vga ram=2 gb 667mhz(+512mb 533mhz) motherboatd ecs p4m900t-m2 North Bridge: VIAP4M900CD South Bridge: VIAVT8237S lan...via rihne 2 audio via vt1708a+creative ct4760 i use a clea install of ideneb ile edtion 10.5.8 + patches from iatkos v7 dvd...this works fine for me...(becouse when i wan to update from 10.5.7 to 10.5.8 i have a black screen) i wwish i have the snow.. every time i want to install the snow...i have a black screen..no panic... i use diferent kext...i don't know what to do... i have entered in safe mode...without video kext...after i instal the kext...i don't could enter in safe modeif helps .the kext's i use in 10.5.8 are... voodoo kernel,qopz kernel...corevidia for my geforce card,via sata ata.kext,but work's only the ata,azalia audio...via rihe 2....+ esential patches... i would be gratefull if someone helps me.. expose Posted April 17, 2011 Share Posted April 17, 2011 Hy, look at my post I see you have almost what I have , and is working maybe on sound, you can let all, I don't know your driver sound SNOW LEOPARD IATKOS S3 V2 This setting working full in my sistem : BIOSTAR AWARD P4M900-M7-SE CPU- Intel dualcore E2160 1.8 GHZ Video- NVIDIA GEFORCE 7300/7200 SE Memory - 3 GB DDRM HDD - 160 GB WD IDE Chipset - VIA and SATA2 HDD working but you must change in BIOS ... IDE to RAID mode WORKING FULLY !!! Burn dvd -intro in cd-rom - restart - press del - enter in bios - change IDE to RAID - get out press -v to but dvd -- 1. Choose language 2. Click DISK UTILITY ( you'll see the hard drive in left ) 3. Click on hdd in left and ERASE WITH -- OSX EXTENDED JOURNALED ( you can put a name partiton or hdd ) 4. When its finished to erase - CLOSE THE WINDOW 5. Press Continue 6. Next 7. On CUSTOMIZE CHANGE TO THIS -- Bootloader Chameleon RC5 8. Bootloader options - DON'T TOUCH 9. patches - DON'T TOUCH 10. DRIVERS - MAIN HARDWARE ( choose this ) - from SATA - ONLY VIA SATA/IDE Sound- ONLY APPLE HDA 10.6.2 (because you must download VOODOO 0.2.62 KEXT after to work full audio ) PS2 - APPLE PS2 ( for desktop ) CPU - VOODOO P-STATE VGA - NVIDIA - Natit ( NO EFI ) NETWORK - WIRED - VIA RHINE Click OK INSTALL - and then wait 20 minutes . WHEN IS FINISHED TO INSTALL - press RESTART and get out quickly the DVD from cd-rom WHEN IS TRYING TO BOOT AFTER RESTART - PRESS -V ... and wait You will see the intro - when you see the NETWORK WINDOW put your name and password and give a name to service NO need name on the POPPOE Complete the next windows ... PUT a NAME AND A PASSWORD when you must choose .. When is done 1. CONECT TO INTERNET 2.
