rick taylor
My insurance company is replacing my toshiba a100 with a a120 pro model, pretty neat, but I'm sick of Windows and really want a macbook pro. So I've decided to sell it immediately. The item, when it arrives (wednesday), will be unopened and untouched with a windows XP pro license. The item is listed on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=130017094377 But I'll also consider selling outside of Ebay if you'd prefer. I'm also willing to swap/part exchange for a macbook pro, I'd be surprised if anyone would be willing to do that though. I can't say much about this machines value as a hackmac, the Intel® 945GM Express chipset should work by all accounts, but the Intel pro wireless might present a problem (it did for me on the a100). rick taylor
Just a quick update... I received a "buy it now" bid last night from a janevatt1, her registered address being in the USA . This morning I get an email, turns out she wants it shipping to her son in Nigeria. I've sent a complaint to Ebay, hopefully they won't charge to re-list. The item arrived today, if anyones interested I can post pictures. rick taylor
Another update. Ebay has proved to be a real disappointment and a hangout for scammers and all manner of undesirables. The toshiba never sold, so I'm dropping the price. £800, postage not included. rogabean
Shame your not in the US and this laptop wasn't around $500.00 US Dollars (my limit before shipping on a non Apple laptop)... I'd snatch it up in a heartbeat. Rather like the specs of that machine. rick taylor
Do you think I'm overcharging a bit? I think I might be, but I have to get least most of the money back. The wife/boss will kick my ass if I don't. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/24601-toshiba-a120-pro/#findComment-173591 Share on other sites
rogabean
I honestly don't know. I couldn't find that laptop on ebay. I also don't know too much about pounds to dollars, so I don't know how what I would pay for it vs. what you are charging lines up....
