I have a USR5421 USB MaxG wireless adapter plugged in. I believe the chip is broadcom BCM4318

My hackintosh shows the following information in System Profiler under "Hardware" -> "USB"

"Remote NDIS 802.11 Wireless Adapter"

Verion: 0.06

Bus Power (mA): 500

Speed: Up to 480 Mb/sec

Product ID: 0x011b

Serial Nmber: 000000000001

Vendor ID: 0x0baf

Does this mean there's a chance that I might be able to use this card?

THanks.

Very interesting. A bit old, but I would like to put more research into this issue. If the device is enumerable [XD] under USB, then could I tell the existing Broadcom driver to work with it? Hmm...

But its weird , we need to ask someone that has gotten it to work under a mac. From what i heard it does not work , OSX thinks its a ndis driver [we dont have ndiswrapper for OSX yet]. So we might need to make a kext out of it to allow USB Devices
