I've installed SL 10.6.6 for the first time on this PC, I started with iAtkos S3 V2. I have had an earlier version of OSX running and with the kext changes from the D830 thread (into which I cannot post because I'm a noob), I had the full resolution of the display available. Now if I try to add the NVkust kext to 10.6.6 I get a black screen after booting. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the system to see other than a standard 1024x768 display (which I am running with right now). Any help would be great! Here's my video details:

Display:

Type: GPU

Bus: PCIe

PCIe Lane Width: x16

VRAM (Total): 32 MB

Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de)

Device ID: 0x0429

Revision ID: 0x00a1

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1024 x 768

Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888)

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Anyone got a clue as to how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Keith

well, you get a black screen because maybe, you have the GraphicsEnabler=y flag in your boot file. Try booting with GraphicsEnabler=N and see what happens.

do not use ntkush, remove it. then set the mentioned option in boot.plist and you will have qe/ci.

works for me up untill 10.6.7.

I have not been able to fix the sound, did anyone?

if so, with which mods/drivers?
