Jadar Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 Hi all! I am trying to get my BIOS load times faster, and am wondering if it is possible to enable SATA AHCI Mode on only one SATA port. (The hard drive my Snow lives on.) I read somewhere that it is possible, I just can't find where that setting lives. I am running on a GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR P45 motherboard. Thanks for the help! Gringo Vermelho Posted January 27, 2011 Share Posted January 27, 2011 You can't do that, it's all or nothing. What's the problem with enabling it on all ports? If it's because you have Windows installed on another drive, then just type Windows AHCI mode in google to learn how to fix that.
