Hi, I don't know what the best solution is but let me tell you how i installed it I have downloaded IATKOS (there are some other distributions, Ideneb...) from "the bay of pirates" and it was all I need to install OSX on my asus K40 then, after having installed it, i was able to figure out what was needed for my hardware (drivers, kexts...) however you can check on forums or google wether your hardware will be recognised or not the only way to do it is to go step by step, take your time and you'll enjoy Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/244612-hi-all-need-some-help-i-will-even-pay/#findComment-1627359 Share on other sites
dothacker
and you can't just offer someone that you'll pay... it's against the forum rules. g0bez
There are lots of guides out there now... and in my experience, no matter which guide you follow there is going to be some adjustment/troubleshooting along the way. The things that I found most helpful: - Wait until you have a few days off - Get a note pad to write down what works and what doesn't work - Have a 2nd computer available (a mac would be best) - A SATA dock so you can easily mount the Hackintosh drive and edit the files without waiting to boot into a recovery mode - Lots of patience - Acceptance that you may not get it to work Personally, I used the ##### and ##### method... I didn't bother with any custom kexts until I got the OS installed. Then I installed a few kexts at a time so that if it didn't boot I would know which were the culprits. It has been a slow and tedious process, but I'm glad I did it. I've been using linux for years now, and am glad to know OS X to a similar degree (you just don't have the need to bother with the internals of the OS until you mess with a hackintosh). Good luck!
