System works fine except for DVD Player, which opens fine but when it attempts to play a DVD that is inserted it quits. Happens with any DVD. VLC is ok, but would like to use DVD Player. tyre777 Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 hmmm when i used jas 10.4.7 i had the same issue, i went back to 10.4.6, dvd player played well- im using gma 900 too, qe and ci, dont know whats made it crash under 10.4.7, anyway machine specs on my sig... tyre777 Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 umm actually it doesnt come out- it just crashes/shuts down.. then would tell us to reopen or close dvd player (is there any error log location for this?) i experience this when i directly install 10.4.7 dvd, but when i install 10.4.6 first then update to ur 10.4.7- dvd plays fine...
