dothacker
well if you didn't put any kexts, then that means your hardware didn't have the drivers for it to work... hmm... now, tell me why your screen turns off... because your video card doesn't have drivers to run it... obviously. Gringo Vermelho
Maybe it's a Graphics Mode flag in com.apple.Boot.plist that sets an unsupported resolution. Another good reason to install retail. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/243674-out-of-frecuency/#findComment-1625329 Share on other sites

Gringo Vermelho
At the boot prompt, type "Graphics Mode"="widthxheightx32@60" (where width and height represents your display's native resolution). Or you can try booting with the -x flag and see if that will get you in. Gringo Vermelho
No idea, I don't use Grub. I don't know which parameters you can pass at the command line when using it. Grub probably has a manual where you can find this information. Alessandro17
Grub probably has a manual where you can find this information. Indeed! Either "man grub" in a terminal or: http://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/grub.html Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/243674-out-of-frecuency/#findComment-1631717 Share on other sites
