You can't use Apple video cards in a PC unless you flash the ROM.

Which is a retarded thing to do, because by then it will just be a PC video card.

*I learned something today.

USB/Firewire/Bluetooth peripherals and (I guess) PCI-E expansion cards that don't use an EFI ROM, will work fine.

As long as your USB/Firewire/Bluetooth controller is working of course.

That's how I read it:

im looking to get the Apple ATI Radeon 5770 graphics card, should it just be plug and play?

Or did I misunderstand your question?

Most Apple parts do work. Mice, keyboards, monitors, etc etc.

Nothing that has an EFI ROM on it will work.

"7300 GTS" doesn't exist, you mean 7300 GT.

I'm surprised that it's working.

I've been reading some more and it appears - at least according to this: http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=877441 - that Mac video cards should work fine in a PC because their ROMs are both BIOS and EFI based.

It's the other way (PC card in a Mac) that doesn't work. PC video cards have a BIOS based-only ROM.

Another problem with using a Mac video card in a PC would be the power connectors, they are different and you'd need an adapter to power the card. The 7300 GT doesn't use external power though.
