The driver for your PATA/SATA controller is causing the kernel panic. A "modified BIOS" is not the way to fix this.

Try different BIOS settings for your drive controller, try unplugging all other drives, whatever else you can think of.

What's your install method and what's an Asus F9E, post some specs.

Setting for SATA/PATA on bios screen are:

IDE Configuration

SATA Operation Mode Compatible or Enhanced

Primary IDE Master

Auto or CD/DVD or ARMD

i'm try all but no success. always show panic

In uploading a video because i dont have a good photo machine.

In attachment the video with bios settings

Video Bios Screen

I solved myself.

I'm try with retail DVD + suitable boot CD but no success

I'm using:

1 - SL_10.6.6i_by_Hazard

2 - PPF-O-Matic_Windows

3 - SL_10.6.6i_IOATAFamily.ppf

I have integrated on point 1 with tool in point 2 the patch on point 3

Result:

Successfully install Snow leopard.

A this time dont work my integrated webcam and wireless intel 3945

The update operating system to 10.6.7 causes the crash.

The other update work correctly.

I hope with my work be useful to someone!!!!!
