Hmm, that Geekbench is not correct IMO (in my opinion).

Most likely the next Mac Pros will run Sandy Bridge-EN not due untill Q3 of 2011 this is the X58 replacement. Info link

I hope 10.7 has AVX support.

The clock isn't right. For real, it's rushing at 6Ghz+:

Sadly, tonymac didn't reveal which mobo was used.

32nm chip @ 1.45 volts core is a heck of a lot for 24/7 operation. Seems the chips can run nicely @ 4.5ghz. Overclocking Guide: To 4.5GHz

Thanks for pointing that out. Seems there is debate on it.

According to this website, it is possible to overclock to 6 GHz using liquid nitrogen, so i'm guessing the results would be about right.

The Geekbench (21000) and Xbench (530) scores do not match up in that post. Xbench would have been nearly 2000.

I had a Geekbench score of 38000 (someone else got 55000) on Sandy Bridge architecture using the legacy kernel. It didn't report speeds correctly.

When we moved to the 10.7.3 SB kernel, the score started to return to normal (about 13000 at 4.3Ghz).
