Xeijin
Hi All, OSx86 is running great for me, I'd just like to know if its possible to see the Grey Apple bootscreen while osx loads rather than all the initialization text etc. TIA,
mifki
Use the search function, its there for a reason. Open your boo.plist file and edit to make queitboot = yes
axl256
I would like to know this as well. I have searched and I believe I have followed what was described but I'm still not getting the bootsplash graphics. Here is my Boot.plist: <key>Kernel</key> <string>mach_kernel</string> <key>Kernel Flags</key> <string>-v</string> <key>Boot Graphics</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>Timeout</key> <string>10</string> <key>Quiet Boot</key> <string>Yes</string> I'm using 10.4.6. The above looks OK to me, have I missed anything?
Rammjet
Remove the -v after Kernel Flags
axl256
Brilliant, thank you Rammjet. I found a better (more detailed) thread about this with a full Boot.plit printed. For those still struggling: Clicky
Xeijin
Sorry it was because I was searching Boot Screen as one word, thanks.
